Rob Smart
Managing Director
Rob spent several years working at Mitie Engineering before founding ThermaMech in 2013. His main focus has been concentrated on commercial and business development, as well and overseeing the strategic growth of the business over the last 11 years. He is wholly dedicated to creating and maintaining long-term relationships with ThermaMech clients.
Alex Sargeant
Financial Director
Alex began his accountancy training at Deloitte in 2009 where qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In 2017 he made the switch to corporate finances with FRP where he worked with a number of privately-owned businesses, across a range of sectors, optimising financial information and reporting. He joined us at ThermaMech
in 2023 to head up the financial department and take the business into the next
stage of growth.

Paul Lewis
Operations Director
Paul began business life as an apprentice heating engineer in 2005. In 2013 he joined the ranks of multinational energy provider EON, working his way up to Production Lead, overseeing all District Heating schemes in the South West. He joined the team at ThermaMech in 2017, as Operations Manager, where he has helped the business grow from strength to strength.
Aaron Ascott
Delivery Director
Aaron started his career in the mechanical division of Mitie Engineering in 2007. He then spent some time working for Priddy Engineering, once again in the mechanical team, before founding ThermaMech in 2013. He has been pivotal in the delivery of all projects over the last 11years and remains dedicated to the continued progression of the business.
Chris O’Keeffe
Technical Director
After qualifying with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2009, Chris initially worked as a Project Engineer on projects across Ireland and South East Asia. On his return to the UK in 2012 he worked as a Design Engineer for Edina, and then Kantor Energy where he gained invaluable project management skills. He joined ThermaMech in 2021 and continues to help build the technical and design capabilities within the organisation.
Anthony Woodcock
Infrastructure Director
Anthony’s early career path saw him work his way up from apprentice site engineer to Lead Engineer for Galliford Try. After a spell freelancing, where he managed his first district heating project, he was offered a position at CPC Civilis as project
Manager. The role saw him oversee multiple district heating projects across the
country and saw his promotion to Contracts Manager. He joined ThermaMech in
2023 as Infrastructure Director.

Keith Stiddard
Commercial Director
Keith has spent over 35 years working within the construction industry. His vast experience has seen him rise from a trainee QS to working with a number of tier 1 companies across build and MEP projects. He joined ThermaMech in 2023 as
Commercial Manager, providing support to the operational team and working closely
with the financial director across all projects.
