CHALLENGES

Managing occupied buildings

Carrying out construction works in occupied spaces posed significant risks to both the safety of occupants and our relationships with them.

Maintaining critical supply

Heating and hot water are essential for residents. We safeguarded the supply, ensuring any outages were minimal, planned, and communicated in advance.

Navigating stakeholder management & programme constraints

With strict deadlines under the Salix funding, effective relationship management and communication were key to our success.

SUCCESS STORY

Uninterrupted service

Through meticulous planning and phasing, the project was completed with no unplanned loss of service.

Efficient work processes

Our self-delivery model enabled a dynamic approach, allowing us to manage various connections concurrently and deliver on time and within budget.

Social value

By employing local labour and supply chains, we positively impacted the local business ecosystem.

Net Zero Carbon

This project marked another meaningful step towards decarbonising Bristol’s healthcare facilities.
