Apprenticeships
At the start of your career there’s no substitute for learning from experts in their field.
We work in partnership with local education providers to provide the Plumbing and Heating Level 3 apprenticeship, and the Environmental Pathway.
The Environmental Pathway allows students to gain essential experience, understanding and knowledge of green skills. Including how to install, manage and maintain heat pumps, and sustainable systems.
We also offer apprenticeships across the full range of roles required to develop the district heating industry, including site managers, project managers, design engineers and civils.
Development Programmes
If you’re interested in retraining or re-entering the workforce, we can support you in a Green Skills Construction role through local education and government initiatives such as Boot Camps/SWAP schemes.

Green Construction Advisory Panel (GCAP)
ThermaMech are proud members of the Green Construction Advisory Panel (GCAP), a member led committee of local building services, housing and construction businesses supported by local authorities, charities and training providers.
Manufacturer Training
Working in partnership with organisations in the District Heat sector such as LOGSTOR and Isoplus, we offer team members the opportunity to attend training sessions with the manufacturers of equipment and systems being installed by our expert team.
Health and Safety/Site Safety Training
To achieve the highest standards in healthy & safety, everyone at ThermaMech is enrolled in training programmes, with a bi-annual refresh and further training that’s unique to each role.
